More than 3000 images were entered from over 60 countries and judged by a distinguished panel including Sheila Dillon, presenter of Radio 4’s The Food Programme, Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens, Alex James, musician and cheesemaker, and Henry Dimbleby, chef and owner of Leon restaurants. The winner was presented with a cheque for £5000 by Jon Durham, Managing Director of Apple & Pear Australia, in front of more than 200 guests from across the world including Italy, China, Chile and USA.
