Category winners:

      • All category winners will receive a prestigious trophy.
      • All category winners will receive a Pro Zenfolio account, free for the first year. The current value of this account is £192GBP. Full details of this prize to be supplied by Zenfolio in a letter to be given to the Winners at the Awards evening
      • The winner of Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year, a category of Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year, will win £1000 and an Errazuriz Don Maximiano Founder's Reserve Commemorative Magnum (150cl), signed by Eduardo Chadwick.
      • The winner of the Pink Lady® Apple a Day category will win £1000 and the winning image will be used by Pink Lady® in its UK multi media marketing campaign.
      • The winner of the The BBC Good Food Fresh Talent Award in partnership with Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year will
        • From the outset be shooting in the test kitchen and office environment
        • Develop and execute visual ideas with all team members across all platforms
        • Take briefs from the magazine and the website
        • Submit visual concepts for both recipe and general food related features to be considered by the Brand Creative Director
        • Benefit from one-to-one mentoring from the Brand Creative Director
        • Have one guaranteed complete photographic story appear both in the magazine and on the website
        • Develop their ability to construct a story and photographically portray narrative
        • Develop their technical prowess
        • Learn to work with clients and understand the collaborative nature of many projects
        • Become familiar with all the behind the scenes work that a photographer undertakes
        • Meet food industry personnel and associated contacts
        • Work across many photographic disciplines such as still life studio set-ups, location photography, portraiture and video
        • Work on location within the UK in restaurants, studios and chefs kitchens
        • Undertake further commissioned work if required by the Brand Creative Director
        • The winner of the BBC Good Food Fresh Talent Award will be given the chance to work to a brief from Pink Lady® and have work featured as part of Pink Lady®’s PR and social media campaign. The winner will work with a home economist to develop, style and photograph new recipes to answer a given brief.
        • The winner of the BBC Good Food Fresh Talent Award will be required to write a short monthly blog with images detailing their personal experiences as an apprentice at Britain’s No 1 food media brand. This will be published on pinkladyapples.co.uk

         

This is a 6 month placement to run from 01.06.17 - 31.12.17.  The successful candidate will be on a fixed term contract of 3 days per week with BBC Worldwide with an annual salary of £12,000 paid monthly and subject to UK tax.

            • The winner must have the right to work in the UK to accept this placement.
            • The winner must have their own photographic equipment.
            • The winner will be based in the both BBC Good Food offices and elsewhere on location as required.
            • The offices are at Wood Lane London W12 7FA and Brook Green London W6 7BT.

In partnering with the Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year, the world’s leading food photography awards, the shortlisted entries will be seen and judged by a prestigious panel of wide ranging food professionals.

        • The winner of the Food Bloggers category will win a photoshoot at the award winning, esteemed Punchbowl Inn, Crosthwaite with head chef Scott Fairweather - value £2000 (no cash alternative) read more
        • The winner of the unearthed® Food in Film supported by delicious.category will win £1,000.
        •  The winner of the Production Paradise Food off the Press category will win a special feature in the Production Paradise Spotlight Food & Drink Photography online magazine, along with a 12-image gallery of their work.
        • The winner of Startisans Food in the Street, a category of Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year will be offered the opportunity of a two-day photography residency spent in Partridges of Chelsea (date to be mutually agreed) where the photographer will record the day-to-day activities. One night of accommodation in a central London hotel in a double room with breakfast will be provided. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to arrange their own travel. No financial support will be given for travel arrangements. The resulting pictures to be hosted in an online exhibition on the Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year website. The photographer to blog about their experience in the popular Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year blogspot and shared through our social media channels. (no cash alternative)
        • The winner of the Fujifilm Award for Innovation will receive the following:
          • 6-month relationship with Fujifilm to be taken within 12 months of the awards
          • Free loan of Fujifilm X-series products during the relationship
          • Fujifilm will support the photographer by promoting them on their Social Media channels (subject to the work being shot on Fujifilm products)
          • Fujifilm will support the photographer with up to 10 exhibition quality prints, to be printed by a laboratory of Fujifilm’s choice
          • May be commissioned to present on behalf of Fujifilm at retailer events, experience days or trade shows (subject to the work being shot on Fujifilm products)
