Calling All Young Photographers… Pink Lady® SNAP IT!

Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year are excited to see the imaginative and creative images from the talented next generation of photographers! Most children and young people have access to a camera on their phones, so why not help them hone their photography skills with a little help from industry experts?

 

Pink Lady® Snap It! competition was created for young people between the ages of 6-18.  This October, Snap It! 2020 offers the opportunity for Under 18 to attend a workshop hosted by our head of judges, David Loftus, and Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year Ambassador, Barney Harwood.

 

It will take place as two masterclasses via Zoom in October 2020, one for ages 6 – 11, one for ages 12 – 18.

 

David and Barney will be lending their expert advice and knowledge to not only enhance photography skills, but to develop ways of expressing and communicating in an ever more visual world.

 

Whether new to photography, or developing photography skills, it is such a great masterclass for those Under 18 to discover techniques and try something different this year! Snap It! attendants will also receive an exciting Pink Lady^® goody bag!

 

 

Some of the parents who joined us for last year’s masterclass shared how the session had helped their children develop their passion for photography…

They will also be offering their hints and tips on ‘how to snap sensational pictures,’ which might also impress the judges our prestigious Pink Lady^® Food Photography of the Year Under 18s category. Our Young Categories are free to enter, and open until Sunday 7^th February, where we are looking for any image at all featuring food. Food in the field, food on your plate, food in the street. Wherever you see food, you can take a prize-winning image.
