We are delighted to announce that this year, for Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year 2022, we shall be giving regional awards to our entrants for the first time. Entrants will not be putting themselves forward for these special awards. Instead, their work will be chosen from outstanding entries in that particular region.
We are thrilled to be part of the Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the year Awards. In these unusual times when we draw even more comfort from food, it is a beautiful celebration of food and the photography thereof, making us think and bringing us closer to each other.
We consider the awards, as a great contribution to culture, a pleasant moment in an instance when the world is having a bad time, they are an opportunity for people to show their work and make themselves known, whether professional photographer or amateur, the mere fact of competing with that amount of wonderful photos is a pride.
Pink Lady® Europe is very impressed to see how food photography can be a discipline that can gather people from any country of the world and make them understand each other and give emotions through image. Magnifying the beauty of crops, cooking or life moments with food is also a wonderful way of thanking all the people working in the industry so as of encouraging the work of talented self-made photographs. It echoes Pink Lady® Europe members’ philosophy and the growing success of the award give us no doubt about the importance of sharing.”

Pink Lady® apples have been an American favorite for 25 years. It was the first apple to earn its own registered trademark and grew to become the recognized apple brand in the world. Hand-picked by caring growers, Pink Lady® apples are always the first to blossom and the last to be harvested—each one soaking up 200 days of sunshine. It’s this generous growing time on the tree that gives Pink Lady® a recognizably gorgeous, rosy blush. Crisp and juicy, this legacy brand is known for a consistently delightful sweet flavor that consumers love. You can find Pink Lady® apples nearly year-round in grocery stores across the United States. Look for the Pink Lady® name and signature pink heart.

We’ve always believed that there is great synergy between the Pink Lady® brand, which has uncompromising quality at its core and the ethos of the awards, which celebrate the very best in food photography and film,” says Peter Durose, Managing Director of Coregeo®, Master Licensor of Pink Lady® UK.
“We have been delighted to see how the awards have grown in stature and scope, so that finalists and winners are recognised for their achievements internationally. Food imagery is significant in all our lives, whether it’s a snap on a mobile phone, a compelling photograph in a newspaper or a beautifully-lit image on an advertising hoarding on the way home.
There are so many talented food photographers out there and the Food Photographer of the Year Awards provide a valuable platform to give the best in their field the recognition they deserve."
