Young Photographer becomes Ambassador
We are excited to announce a partnership between Cook School and the Young (Under 18s) category of Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year.
Amanda Grant, Cook School explains more, "Cook School is all about exciting children about food and helping them to understand what it is and where it comes from. Encouraging children to take photos of food and their own recipe creations is one way to do this. We’re so excited to be partnering with Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year."
To celebrate this exciting collaboration, we talk to Ruby Smend, winner of the 10 and under category in 2018 and recently appointed young ambassador for Cook School.

Ruby has created two videos; in the first she talks about why she likes taking photographs of food, entering the awards and why she would encourage other children to take part.
In the second video she gives a quick three step guide of food photography for children.
Huge thanks to Ruby for sharing her passion and creativity, we cannot wait to see the entries for the Young Category in 2019, head over to the category page to find out more. It is free to enter and the perfect activity for the school holiday!
